Some exciting news from the world of SD, and a plea for help from you:

The nominations for the Providence Phoenix's 2007 Best Music Poll were announced today, and Storm Davis was nominated in 2 categories!:

BEST HIPHOP ACT

and

BEST ALBUM (All Genres)

and frankly, he'd really like to win 'em both.

Here's where you come in.

Ballots can be cast online, at the following URL:

http://www.thephoenix.com/bmp/default.aspx

The site will prompt you to CHOOSE YOUR CITY.

Even if you don't live in Providence, CHOOSE PROVIDENCE.

The ballot will take a couple of minutes to complete, but believe that the gratitude you will receive will pay off your time tenfold.

Please vote as often as you can, from as many email addresses as you have (it only requires a name and email address be listed, at the very end of the poll). There is no indication on the site that there is a limit on the number of times you can vote, even from one address.

Also consider yourself encouraged to write in Storm Davis in the BEST MALE VOCALIST category, and POORLY DRAWN PEOPLE in BREAKTHROUGH ACT and CATEGORY-DEFYING ACT (what the hell, it certainly can't hurt).
