just when we think things are good and quiet - boom. explosion just outside the base immediately followed by small arms fire. no one was hurt. it's amazing. sometimes i wonder if they're really attacking anybody. they're not scaring us. we just hear shit go off, figure out where it came from, it stops, they're gone. eh, whatever.
