Wow, It's been a while since I last hit confession here!....... Things have been pretty blah........ I spent the week before Christmas in Vegas with my Lady. Stayed at the MGM. Saw the Cirque, went to Tao, and spent a SHITLOAD of money at the Premium Outlet Mall! Also, did some gambling (poker, and played the slots with Jen).
My girlfriend and I ordered food from Kyoto and spent New Years eating Japanese food and drinking Dom Perignon. My girlfriend is VERY allergic to alchohol but drank 2 glasses, turned beet red, but didn't have the usual asthma/breathing problems usually associated with her allergy. She was needless to say a little on the PISSED side!!
Have been going to Oil games but if you know the slightest about hockey, you understand why I am a little blah!
I'll be quite honest (since it is confession and all), I think the whole pissing contest that was going on in SGCW kinda put me off participating for a while. It was a little depressing to be honest. I was having trouble with one of my "so-called" friends at the time, feeling like an adult dealing with a child who kept seeing how far they could push you to the edge without going mental. In the end, I washed my hands of the dude 'cause it seemed like after I'd "cleaned up" after him, he'd piss all over the place again!!!! Kinda the same thing Misguided was dealing with, except I'm sure his desicions were a tad easier to make than my own at the time (no offense). In the end, I think it was better. All that stuff in the group was a little juvie, but if I was not going to participate here for a reason, I think it should be for something a little more meaningful than being put off by a bunch of people I don't even know!
Ah well...... anyway, I heard the SGCW group is getting together a week tomorrow, so I think I might go check it out and meet some of my fellow E-town degenerates! Interested in finally putting a few faces to the "handles" here!
Anyway, enough about me.......... what were you saying??????

Is that the Kyoto on 99th and Argyll ? Best Sushi in town, best prices too.
The Oilers have been kinda blah this year for sure.... they were blah last year too, they just kept winning enough to make it to the end. Every game I watch I am astounded at how often we give away the puck.
I'm going to try and be there on Sat, so we'll see you there then.
