And it seems today is that day. Even if technically I was feeling sick yesterday. Any other day I might have just taken a day off and rested up. But yesterday was the first work team day of the year, where as a group of managers we collectively set the focus for the year so I dosed myself up on painkillers and soldiered on. And now I’m paying the price. Despite a nearly full nights sleep, I still ache. I’m still either shivering or burning up, I have this constant low level headache that won’t go away. Hopefully I get over it today and can get back to work tomorrow. Send good thoughts.
