…well more like Mince Pies and Champagne. I’m not normally a heavy drinker but Christmas is something of an exception. Not that I get smashed or anything but with Bucks Fizz with breakfast, wine for lunch, cocktails in the evening, it’s the most boozy day of the year for me.
Mixed around that are presents, I’m looking forward to my usual mix of fun and functional; a slightly less traditional Christmas lunch with guinea fowl replacing the Turkey; and family time. Unusual for Christmas we are having family over on Boxing Day, which really it’s been too long. It’s not the full on extended family visit but with three girls pretty hyper on a normal day it might feel like it.
