I’m a little disappointed to have to say this but I had higher hopes for Deadpool and Wolverine. While it was great to see Deadpool take a step closer to the MCU and the number of cameos and returning characters was very cool, the whole movie lacked something. Which is a problem with the current crop of Marvel movies but that’s a whole other discussion. It told a somewhat intriguing story, although only for the background details. It was interesting to see the TVA and I was wondering how this would tie into Loki season 3 if we get a season 3, but the rest of the plot was just as expected, with nothing terribly groundbreaking. It got a happy ending but I can’t say I was on the edge of my seat as it went along. Let’s hope Marvel can break this streak soon.
