And honestly, I’m not as nervous as I thought I would be. Yeah, I’m sure I will be a little nervous when it actually comes to it. This whole time does feel different, like there are actually expectations this time. Not vague goals and objectives, but actual business goals. Even if they aren’t passed down to me, I need to have tangible proof of how I’ve succeeded at this. More than that, I want to be ready for a full time position should one be available. And that’s going to need some drive from me. I need to really push myself and get my fingers into all aspects of this job. Right now, I need to get my team on board and nail the basics. Get the processes and procedures in the right place at the right time. That’s goal one. Once I have that in hand, I’m hoping to steam roll from there.
