Nostalgia over being ill, can you say you’ve ever heard of such a thing. It’s not that I’m nostalgic over the illness itself, I’m not reminiscing about symptoms of halcyon days. Like remember the days when I had that scratchy sore throat. No. But I do have good memories of times when I have been sick. Like one Christmas around 20 years ago. Well more after Christmas. We should have been back at school, instead we were both at home, sipping warm Ribena and playing Star Trek Starfleet Academy. Now that sounds a nerdy thing and it was. But to two huge Star Trek fans there is little better than taking command of a Starship and warping our way across the galaxy. The only thing better was when our best friend joined in the action and turned a one player game into a three player. Oddly it worked quite well. Yeah that turned into a ramble but good times.
