Tonite was a pretty bad night for me. I just pulled out of a parking lot had my signal on and a minivan doing 50+ (30 is the limit), came within inches of my car. He whipped by in left turn lane that spawns at the end of the block, oversteers, pulls a 180 and while doing so takes out the lamp post on the near corner and then stops tail end first into the fence of a construction site and a fire house, 10 to 15 feet, past the far corner. This was a 6 lane intersection. I pull the car over and I see the driver and in the first row seat a baby. When I pulled out I didn't see him. at that speed he could have easily been way before the intersection behind me. The guys in the fire house came out in quickly and the driver and the baby seemed to be ok, the minivan was totaled. I felt bad for the driver but you don't get all fast and furious with a baby while driving a minivan...............

Props to FDNY as they took care of everything, I was still on the cell reporting the accident when a FDNY ambulance rolls up.

I really didn't see him as I pulled out, but i'm still shook.

Since My car wasn't hit i wasn't considered to be involved and the cop just took my name, address and phone number, then said I could go.

That shit looked like it came out of a movie as it happened.

Tonite I had realized how shit can go really wrong really quick and that a 2 1/2 ton vehicle is not to be taken lightly. My 2 friends who were in the car were ok but could have been really hurt by this guy if he had rear ended us.

All that i'm saying is be responsible and don't do stupid shit if you have a kid in the car.
