i find that we can never actually get the exact representation of what we want out of our heads and properly into a physical medium. however, i suspect that even if we did manage to crack open our skulls and extract from the gooey confines the exact thing we wanted to show the world, people still wouldn't really see it, and we would find that its exposure to the world outside our heads would have changed it.

Next time just bring a hammer and nails in class and secure the canvas that way. I'm sure your profassor wouldn't mind one bit *cackles*

I went to California State Summer School For the Arts (in essence, CSSSA) my junior year in highschool and paying for laundry sucks ass.

Still waiting for the fall to arrive. Sigh.

i miss upstate NY, but avoid my relatives. they're lurking around there somewhere. fall is quite nice, but as i have no artistic talent in any visual medium i settle for painting the world i see with words. it must be nice to paint the pictures in your head in a form that people can see as all your own. i am forced to hope that my reader has some form of imagination and hope i can steer towards my way of perceiving things.

i miss free laundry.

i am currently reading the most wonderful collection of short stories entitled "Shadows Over Baker Street"... its sort of a who'e who of modern short story writers trying their hands at Doyle's Great Detective if he had to deal with H.P. Lovecraft's world... fucking brilliant.

i too am eagerly awaiting my copy of Diary... ordered it from my favorite local (i.e. - small, struggling, very cool place that tends to run behind releases sometime) book store in Buffalo. as i am now in Columbus, i suddenly find myself eagerly awaiting their forwarding it to me from there. hope to see it soon... Chuckles is such an excellent author.

anticipation only makes things better, don't give in and wait for your copy...

to be honest i'm not actually from Columbus. in fact, i've lived here two weeks today. just transferred in to the mildly neurotic domain of OSU this year. originally i am from the vilest place on earth: Buffalo.

anyway, i have to go assist the filthy room mates in the coontinued operations of life here (i.e. drinking and chasing women... what i wouldn't give for someone who can hold a conversation on... well anything), so have yourself a wonderful stay in the lovely realms of SG.
