So, I go to pick up the car rental I reserved online, right?
But they tell me I need a $200 security deposit from my credit card, which they didn't tell me before, and I did not have!
So, I come back later with my dad, who had to miss work, to rent the car with his credit card. And now they say it's $300!!! Of course, my dad didn't have that much either!
So, I'm stuck at home, ONE MORE DAY! I need to go to work!!!
What the heck do I do???

That happened to me once. A drunk driver hit me in June 2002 and totaled my car, the woman's insurance company paid for it, and offered a rental while I waited to see if it was a total loss, but when I got to the rental place they asked for a $500 deposit. Lame.
