IN FOND REMEMBRANCE
Belatedly we observe the anniversary of the birth of our dear Norma Jean (June 1, 1926):
.
No greater avatar of feminine sexuality ever existed in her day. No sadder child was ever born. We love you and still miss you, Marilyn!
(This painting is by Audrey Flack, a very interesting and wise lady. You should check her out).
I have more, but it can wait for another day.... basta!

I've never really paid much attention to Marilyn Monroe and I don't know all that much about her. What is it about her career / life / personality / allure that most inspires you?

Well, I haven't read it, so I can't really contribute that much to the discussion.
