Big excitement!
For the past couple of weeks, the idea of dropping out of school and working full-time has really been eating away at my mind. I was convinced that it was my only option, and I was going to have to do it whether or not I wanted to (and believe me, I really didn't want to). But then I found a school... the Harrington College of Design. It's in Chicago, and it offers a program in communication design, which is exactly what I want to do. How convenient, right? So, my plan at this point (and this is subject to change at the drop of a hat) is to finish up this year at Ivy Tech and get a lot of my general education courses out of the way, and then transfer to Harrington in the fall, get a part-time job, and hope for the best.
Well, I posted a blog about this on my MySpace, and I immediately got a message from my sweet lady (Lindsey). She was like, "Oh my god, this is so weird, I was just talking to my mom about going to that school for digital photography! Blah blah blah." So, if this bitch moves to Chicago with me... oh... it is on like Donkey-fucking-Kong. Nothing would make me happier. It would be so great to have someone I knew (let alone my best friend) move to the city with me AND attend the same school as me. I'm really fucking excited.
