i would have to agree... don't get yourself so busy working at a crappy job that you know you don't want to stay at when you could be using that time to find something better. otherwise you definietly will get stuck in that crappy job. i've had it happen before... not fun.

I inquired about an ad on craigslist for what seemed like an on-the-job training bartending job, but when I got there it was a bartending school.

Good attitude, don't take the job, do the course, it's something you can fall back on if necessary, especially placement. Bartending is also good to travel with as all resorts need em & as you said good money. Damn, maybe I should do a course, hmmmmmm
