I got a haircut a couple of weeks ago
I took some pictures last week
wearing red lipstick, which i never wear outside of the house
and an outfit i threw together (which I would also never wear outside of the house)
inspired by Marianne Faithful in Girl on a Motorcycle (1968)

though I'm not wearing leather or a zip-up jumpsuit, and don't look nearly as hot as she does in that movie

they also turned out to not showcase my hair that well...oh well

I just bought a Holga

I have been looking online for places to get my film developed and printed in NYC
I want the pictures to be printed correctly ( not color corrected, not cropped into a rectangle, etc)
but I don't want to pay outrageous prices

lots of people have recommended developing at home, but i'm using color, so doing it at home is not an option, and even if I was doing b/w...I don't have a place to do it at home

online recommendations I've seen were Ben Ness near Union Sq (which is cheapish, but had hot and cold reviews..some swear by it, others said they were horrible)
Adorama, but I'm not sure they develop and print 120 MF film...I can't find anything about it on the website.
and some others I can't really remember, but those were the ones closest to where I work.

anyway, can someone please help?!
I don't want to just go to any old lab without some good testimonials!

another option is getting a scanner that scans 120 MF negatives....does anyone know anything about this?

I have taken some pictures, but I haven't finished the first roll yet
I am excited to see what happens, but I need to find a place to get it processed and printed first

also, in case you haven't already checked them out,
here is the link for my last blog with my San Francisco vacation pictures

edited to add:
I just noticed that when I've posted a comment and my name, location etc are there with my picture/icon....it also says HOPEFUL where it says SUICIDEGIRL for SGs....that's weird
I'm not really a hopeful anymore...that was 3 years ago.
