so I finally did it!
I got my digital SLR: I decided to get a Canon Rebel XT rather than the XTi cos I'm going to use the extra money I saved to eventually buy a better lens once I figure out which one I want and need.

I had saved the money last fall winter and spring at my last job and had expected to buy a camera at the end of the summer...but when I became unemployed that didn't happen..and even though I never touched the money I had saved for the camera..I was afraid to buy it when I felt uncomfortable in my finances...
I still kind of do..but that's what that money was saved for..so yay!
I just need to teach myself how to use it better so I can make beautiful pictures
here are some shots I did last night..I was up til 6am fooling around with it

of course there had to be an undies shot haha

I like how it looks like the lights are hanging over the edge of the mirror

randomly edited to add
that I like this dress JLo is wearing hehe

The man left the US under 'mysterious circumstances'.........(political reasons)......and lived around the world for 15 years. He came back when he started seeing his photos in print & thought, "Hey, those are mine!" Turns out, everybody thought he was dead & figured they could steal his stuff. (There's a long story here......best explained in person.)
I asked him recently if he ever thought his subjects (he was a photojournalist during the Factory years) would be relevant forty years later.......and he said no.
Yeah, the Fields fit is also typical of these people. Such freaks.........
But welcome to the Factory group.......we keep a fairly low proflile.
