@adam_bovary asked How did you come up with your SG name?
My SG name came from two inspirations: the first is that my cousins always called me Defh (my name is Daphne), and the second is because I really like the band 'Def Leppard' so I combined the two things.

My favorite song is 'There Is a Light That Never Goes Out' by The Smiths because I love the lyrics of that song, and since the first time I heard it I felt a wonderful vibe.

I would be a cat. I love cats. They are beautiful, mysterious, hunters, and love to sleep.

I'm an exhibitionist person. I think I'm always doing daring things, haha. Maybe the most daring thing I've ever done was firing my own boss.

Since childhood, I was already immersed in this environment because my cousins were gothic. I grew up loving the style, the music, and the movies with a dark theme.

When I was a child and a teenager, my biggest dream was to be a beautiful woman; a 'Femme Fatale.' I saw that in the SG models; that inspired me a lot.

How were you first introduced to SuicideGirls?
I first encountered SG during my adolescence through Facebook. I would see the pictures and the girls' style, and I was captivated.

Where do you find inspiration?
I often say that childhood is a path you walk throughout your entire life. My inspiration comes from my inner child, when my biggest dream was to become a 'Femme Fatale' haha.
What impact has your culture / identity had on your modeling journey?
I strongly identify with the gothic subculture and elements of horror. So, I have always sought to incorporate a bit of these things that I admire into my photoshoots.

What is your favorite form of self expression?
My sensuality.
What is your favorite form of self-care OR what is your self-care routine?
I love taking care of my body and health, always smelling good, using body and face creams, and taking care of my hair. I enjoy always looking impeccable.

What part of your beauty routine makes you feel most confident?
Skin Care, of course.
What impact has SG had in discovering yourself as a person and a model?
I always felt peculiar because of my exhibitionism, tattoos, and style. With SG, I discovered that it wasn't strange at all. It's art! I realized that I can use this "strangeness" to connect with other people. As a model, I finally found myself within a community. I would say that SG is a very significant part of me.

Share a memorable experience from your point of view as an alternative model in your ______ community
In my perspective, a memorable moment as an alternative model was when I started posting sensual pictures and many women felt confident to do the same. I was able to show that it is possible to be beautiful outside of conventional standards while embracing an alternative style, and still be intelligent and have a successful career.
