Love Songs I was thinking about my favorites and what do we listen for in a love song? Do the lyrics support and explain our current relationship or remind us of a relationship that is no more? For me it's a reminder of a past love.
So in no particular order, my favorite three. And of course there is a story behind all of them. Now I don't want to surrender my "man card" here but I just wanted to post these. The Alanis Morisette is my favorite. I dated a girl for two years, when we met she didn't want to get involved with anyone at the time, but after hanging out for almost 3 weeks, we got together and were head over heels for two years....... She quoted this song saying, she didn't want to fall for me, but had no choice, which was an amazing thing to hear from someone you are so into!!. And then of course Sinead O'Connor was my therapy after we split up and "In your eyes" is just thee perfect love song!

I guess if I had to make a spur of the moment decision, these would be my top two:
and
but really, a good amount of Ingrid Michaelson songs could be counted as my favorites... morning lullabies, masochist, etc. I love her.
