I'm back in Dryden. It's hot and smokey as fuck. Currently, there are over 100 forest fires burning out of control in the region. A thousand of people from Northern communities are being evacuated. My bro has been up there for almost three weeks now fighting fire. He should be home in a day or two and then will most likely have to go back for another 3 weeks or so. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the situation until the snow falls.

Anyway, my friend is getting married this weekend. And it should be a lot of fun. Bachelor party stuff began this morning, with me, the only lady, winning the fishing tournament with the biggest fish. "Team Vagina" caught a 20inch Walleye. Nothing extraordinary, but big enough to win. Tonight= drinking heavily
