Pretty laid back day. Work was slow. Slowly trying to piece together a portfolio site to apply for an online MFA program. Working on a few side projects, most music related. Figured out a new name for Tiffincore Records, its now going to be Imminent Threat Records, and it looks like we have at least two releases, and possibly five lined up, funding depending of course. Gonna mail in all the paperwork to change the name and what not.
Ux Ux the electro/indie label I need to register yet, and its got two releases ready to go.
The last Tiffincore show is the 18th, after which, I think it'll be kind of nice to move on to bigger and broader things.
I've expanded my listening portfolio sevenfold in the past three weeks, everything from gameboy created music to metal. Maybe I will finally get that ipod full.
Tonight I worked out for an hour after work, came home and changed and went to Ray's MTB park to ride for a few hours. My knee looks like I have two knee caps, but it could be alot worse. Jumps are starting to get bigger, and the foam pit is definately alot of fun.
Starting to get excited about the Bronx show Thursday, I think its going to be one of the last ones I go to for a while as I probably should start saving up for the label releases and the Coachella trip. I guess I'm flying out and riding back with a friend, so yet again I get to drive across the country, this time I'll remember to take a camera.
I need to get out and meet some new people, I don't know if I'm socially lacking, or if it just is harder to meet people up here than BG or Tiffin. Either way, more effort on my part is required, I just need to get out of this sleep is good mood.
