the feeling of being unprepared for the weekend is quite odd. most people look toward it as a time to just let loose and have fun. while this is my intent, I seem to inject much more into my weekends then I realize. my plan is a race that includes a 800 mile (round-trip) drive and a race car that is currently in need of minor repairs from its last race. while my normal day is to attempt to work two jobs, this leaves little time for attending to car repairs. race? tomorrow will tell.
in any case I'm looking forward to two things: spending some time with my girlfriend and hopefully (?) having a drink tonight with a friend that I haven't hung out with in more than a year.
long story short, because of issues between her, myself and other peoples it was safer to just not speak with anyone for awhile. recently i got back in contact with her in hopes we might resume a regular friendship.
