I've got a few reasons to be excited... as we'll examine here;
I was only back 2 days from Vegas and swung right into the weekend. Its nice to have time to catch up at home after a vacation.
A friend and I spent 3 days last week in Vegas over the past week, mostly playing poker. We hit four tournaments of which he placed 3rd (in the money) in one Tuesday night and I placed 6th (just outside the money) on Wednesday night. Although I only made it to the second table I was invariably responsible for taking out 6 other players at my table, two at the same time. I made some of the best calls in hands I've ever made.
In 9 days Megze departs on her pilgrimage to Boston (
) and I'll be driving with her to Chicago, at the same time we'll see Why? midway through in Omaha of all places. This will be a journey only fit for good friends and cute bunnies.
Spring is slowly poking its head around the corner; I'm looking forward to the weather becoming warmer (high 70's while in Vegas) and the race season beginning. It doesn't appear I'll be campaigning my car this year, while it's in the stages of being rebuilt though I'll be co-driving which can generally be much less stressful.
