There is supposed to be something so dramatic about the new year, like it will change my life because there is a 08 instead of a 07. the only thing i really hope to achieve this year, sooner than later, is resolve of past feelings that seem to haunt me.

I'm more than excited to have a garage this year, after probably 6 years.. crazy. I can only see my social life going the way of the garage. The garage does include a house at which some point I'll be moving into, my only dilemma is whether or not to get a roommate. I've only lived with people a few times and they were people i knew fairly well prior. We'll see what happens.

New Years eve in San Francisco was crazy, not only was Bimbo's the slickest rockabilly scene I've had the fortune of going to, it had all of the right stuff; good bands, plenty of cute girls; and a couple of fights. Only one way to start off the new year at 12:30 in the morning... watching girls brawl.

SF is as good as always, though I've been a bit of a homebody I'm still hoping to catch a show before I pack up and head home. I was excited to go car shopping for my friend I'm staying with, although I'm really excited to see her get one of the two we looked at. With luck I'll be a blur in some ones side-view tomorrow. Since I've never driven one I'm looking forward to seeing what its like.

I sure she'll be wanting a garage now.
