kill me nooowwwww.
i woke up this morning and i can barely swallow. and yet i'm at work. the other receptionist went home sick so i'm at the phones all day. but, in a trade for me being up here all day, she said i didn't have to come in tomorrow. good trade i say, then i can sleep all day...i need it.
k, weekend update:
friday: hung out with myke25 and watched the movie Prozac Nation, which is awesome by the way. i kinda related to it in some ways, minus the loads of drugs she took. heh.
friday night, or i guess morning, i got a call from fr3ak who was pretty drunk. funny times.
saturday: told myself i'd get up at 10 and go to the OC brunch...but pretty sure i was lazy in bed till noon. i went and got some donuts and watched movies and napped all day with fr3ak. we ended up going to dinner with a friend to el torito...tasty.
sunday: decided 'eff the superbowl!' and went to disneyland with trispiral and fr3ak. it was my first time, awwwww disneyland virgin. it was alright, really crowded though. i was cranky because i've been getting sick all weekend so i promise i'll have more fun next time.
i got a season pass so let's go to disneyland!
so...i'm sick. saturday, i couldn't breathe so well and felt like yuck. headache and tummy ache. yesterday, i felt alright at disneyland although i had a huuuuuge headache for the whole day and it just wouldn't go away. then i went to bed last night and i had trouble swallowing. i had the feeling in the back of my throat...you know the one where you feel like you're going to throw up? blech. now my throat just hurts and it hurts to swallow, but my head feels fine! yay! hahaha.
i just feel more like yuck today because i got no sleep
i got home last night and a few minutes later, my roommate's drunk friends came in the house and were super loud and stumbling all over. then, i hear one say, "oh i'm gonna go to bed!" by this time i am allllmost asleep and then i hear my door open and he just stands there in the doorway. i felt like yuck so i didn't even get up or anything. besides the fact that i usually sleep in like...a tshirt and underwear, i kinda didn't wanna get out of bed with some guy standing there. he went away and then i went to sleep. but theeeennnnn...
at 4 am, the dumbass comes into my room again! and tries to sleep in my chair! i thought maybe he'd go away and i felt like so much crap anyway, so i tried to go back to sleep. eventually, he left and i closed the door and put my laundry basket in front of it (i have no lock) so i could actually sleep. so i got no sleep last night. trying to ward off a cold AND drunk people? too much work for this little girl.
someone save me! i'm stuck at work for another -counts- 7 hours? blech.
p.s. i think it's time for some thrift store trips. i'm going to start sewing again! well sewing and knitting. i miss doing those things, as well as drawing. they occupy my mind. anyway, i'll be sure to post my new creations as they come.
