I'll tell you 20 seemingly interesting random facts about myself and then I'll tag 5 of you and you do the same.

20 interesting things about perfect_equation:
1. I like the smell of smoke. But not gross smoke like cigarettes, but smells like after you blow out birthay candles, clove cigarettes and fireworks. I like to drive down a certain strip of road by the beach because it smells like campfires 24/7.
2. I have only had two real boyfriends. One of which was online, lol. (Actually, he ended up moving to my town eventually, but yeah.)
3.I lived with my grandma my whole life. Last year was the first year I've lived with my mother since I was two.
4. I was born in Canada. That's why I have a maple leaf tattoo...that and I just like maple leaves.
5. I took a music class in 8th grade and tried playing the clarinet. The next year, I was in band. I would have continued on for a long time (I assume), but my director was crazy, so I quit.
6. When I was little, I always wanted to have glasses and braces. Then when my eyes started getting really bad, I told my grandma and she never believed me, she just assumed I wanted glasses just to have them. I went about three years sitting in the fron tof the classroom not being able to see. Oh and now that I have braces, I don't like them.
("Then, the doctor told me that BOTH my eyes were lazy! And that's why it was the best summer ever." )
7. I've been whale watching in the San Juan Islands and seen a pod of orca whales in "the wild" no less than 20 feet away.
8. I always wish I had a group of girlfriends. Like the group on Sex & the City. I get kind of jealous when I watch the show, but...I don't like having girls for friends, usually.
9. I have never been drunk. I've drank before but never to the point of being drunk.
10. I was in Pep Club in high school and helped design some homecoming floats at one point.
11.I was an only child and also the only kid living in my neighborhood when I lived with my grandparents, so I tended to make up elaborate pretend-games and stayed in my room pretty much forever. I stil do that...minus the pretend-games.
12. I have some form of social anxiety (according to my stupid doctor) and hate doing things like going places by myself, asking people at stores for help (like for applications and whatnot) and I usually would just rather stay at home. But then I get bored at home by myself. I think I just need a boy or something.
13. I hate driving. Especially at night.
14. I love sauerkraut. My mom and I used to eat it out of the jar when I was little.
15. I also love hotdogs. Don't bother telling me what's in them, I don't care. They taste good so shut it.
16. I got a sand art kit once when I was little. I poured my creations (mixed with birdseed and some other things....I told you, lots of elaborate pretend-games) down one of our bathroom sinks as well as the toilet, cloging them both and putting them out of commission for a while. I told my grandparents I didn't know how it got there or who did it.
17. I am only 4'11.
18. I hate wearing socks. Actually, I hate wearing shoes as well. I'll wear flip flops or chucks because they are the closest to non-shoes. When I wear any other type, I feel weird driving (can't feel the pedals).
19. I went to 4-5 different schools between kindergarten and fifth grade. I was in the "accelerated program" and most schools only had the classes in certain grades. I'm not that smart anymore.
20. When I was little, my grandpa tried to turn me into a big nerd. I had a chemistry set, electronics set, algebra and geometry computer games and loads of english and math flashcards my grandma made me...all at around the age of 6

My friends call these sorts of conversations "Quirky Fact Time." We will look at each other, and message each other on our phones, and say QF: or Quirky Fact - and tell them something strange about ourselves. It's a way to pass the day.
