Thoughts on Thanksgiving.............celebration of gluttony. Christmas stress begins. I guess we get to see some family and friends....Five days off for me.
OK I guess that balances out alright.
Artthug is down from LA. I am forcing him to participate in the festivities...
Random facts:
My first thanksgiving away from home was spent in White Sands New Mexico, with a wind chill factor that didn't even ask your bones if it could blow through them. I was sleeping in a lean two canvass tent with a Korean guy named KO...that would fall asleep at the drop of a hat. They woke us up with grenade simulators yelling "get up you turkeys"
The next one after that I was chest deep in swamp with my rifle above my head (so it wouldn't get to dirty: it was a bitch to clean) standing in wait to ambush our opposition force----fuckin jungle infantry, crazy ass bastards.
The good thing about being single is I only have to bring soda and milk to the family gathering.

The red in my hair is La Riche Directions: Fire Red... + yes I have very dark, almost black hair, but I bleached it until it was white blonde before I dyed it

I missed that Stereolab show...I was none too happy about it either. But it was more like a year ago rather than 2 months. They haven't toured for awhile...I think that they're recording a new album right now...
