I would just like to point out that this is the 3rd or 4th time I've tried to write this entry.
1. Hey hey SG-land! I'm beack from my semi vacay, tanner and less bug-bitten than expected. It's a win-win situation for sure.
2. After last week I've developed a habit of referring to women as "miss [first name]". It started as a joke and fucking snowballed, but it's all good.
3. Best line of the week "I'm not your sweetie, I was just saying hi!" Oh 9-year-olds.
4. Went to Water Country. That was fun, people were rude and stared though. Oh well. Perdita Suicide ain't nothing to fuck with, let me tell you.
5. Shirked duties tuesday night and bribed co-workers with milkshakes so I could go to Newbury Comics for this:
FINALLY! Oh it's fucking rad my friends. I can finally listen to it whenever I want! I also saw the gents themselves @ best buy on saturday. Good acoustic performance (how happy was I they performed "Handy With the Steel"?!) and the cd signing was silly.
6. I met some new SGs on friday, I'm always really excited about that . . . um, Bailey, Cadence and I went to Sid's apartment and Granny, Poppy and MaryAnn were there. It was good times for sure, I just wish I hadn't been Cranky McSleeplesspants. There's always next time.
7. Also I'm definitely Sicky McInfectedpants again, with the same flesh-eating virus as last time and wouldn't you know it's not Cherie's fault this time. I'm definitely not going to the doctor though because for dealing with assnasty antibiotics all I had to show for it was a month of birth control rendered useless and here I am less than a month later sick again. So this is my new regimen: no smoking, no drinking, no dairy, 2x teh vitamin c & e plus echinacea. And as little processed sugar as possible, with the exception being made for chocolate soy milk/ice cream.
8. I found out last night someone I know has a membership on here. *waves* Hello mister medic, got any spare ice packs?
9. My best friend is in town this week which is totally awesome. I hope I can see her as much as humanly possible, including lots of beach time. I mean, I do have that goth sensibility for sure, but sometimes it's just nice to be tan. And I do wear sunblock. Sometimes.
10. Oh and apparently I rule, with a z. ^_^

Perdita's Peculiar Particular: Both of my 2nd toes are longer than my 1st toes. Apparently this means I'm intelligent. Heaven forbid one uses actually demonstrations of intelligence as opposed to random physiological indicators.
ps I got lazy and decided not to respond to some comments from the last entry. Or catch up on journals. So tell me if I missed anything interesting last week?
