10 days go by without a sound. I was getting my compy fixed, he seems to be running better now. I did like not being on the computer so much, we'll see how that goes.
I was busy starting school and fighting off demons. Maybe more the former than the latter. I'm hopeful about this semester, I seemed to be motivated, though that rarely lasts as long as I would like. I sometimes wonder what would happen if the following two foods were invented: One would make you feel like you had just taken a delicious five hour nap, minus the bladder shrinking, twitchy side effects of coffee. The other would give you a steady stream of motivation. Both would come in tasty flavors, like pineapple, or for the even more tropically inclined, mango. The former foodstuff seems more feasible than the latter.
I seem to like all my professors. One is kind of "eh." I have taken this class for credit in women's studies and can take it again for english credit. I rule. It's different every time, especially when the first time your professor is an awesome wms professor and the second time she is a 19th century lit expert who tells you to stop blowing bubbles with your gum and also says "one day you all will have kids." How heteronormative! I got spoiled the first time let me tell you.
I am taking a dialect class and it makes me want to do an in-depth study of idiolects, the dialect of a single person. What words do you use and when? In what context and why? I think it could be interesting and fun. Sometimes I don't even use words but sounds, or something in between, but I think it's only in the presence of people closest to me as they can read the sounds and syllables best due to familiarity.
I am currently obsessed with:
Dole Pineapple Tidbits - I was reading a pizza magazine at work and there was an offer for a free 29 oz. can of tidbit goodness. I'm so tempted to tell my bosses to get it for me because pineapple is delicious especially when it's dole.
Neutrogena Hand Cream/Sally Hansen Diamond Cuticle and Nail Cream - Helping my hands stay soft and smooth, especially the former, though the latter smells yummy.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs - Got my perfume samples!!! 14 instead of 12, I'll have to see what I ordered as opposed to what I received. So far I've worn Salome, Hunger, and Blood, and I love them all. Also Blood smells supremely fruity in the bottle but gets much warmer on your skin, yay!
Words-As per usual. The dialect class makes me happy for this reason.
Taking the bus - Due to my class schedule, I take the bus to some of my classes. It's nice. Except when creepy dudes bother me at the bus station.
Classical music radio stations - Makes my day nice.
Kylie Minogue - On the complete opposite end of the musical spectrum, yeah? I bought fever last week and it is in fact awesome, I'm listening to it right now. *dances*
Happy birthday Mozart!
ps The Matador is out nationally today. This makes me quite happy.
<<See?

Good luck with school hopefully it all comes out right for you, how is it going so far?, that dialect class does sound very interesting and you should do a study of a single persons dialect that would be very cool.
lol watch out you might end up with a collection of tidbit tins covering the floor of your room
