Happy Thanksgiving! Mine was okay. It's not easy but you get though them.
I'm listening to the new Fiona Apple album and it's pretty amazing; I love the different instrumental arrangements, especially on the title track. It's dual disc though, which is a bit confusing. At any rate it was/is a present that made me happy.
In the spirit of the holiday, I'm thankful for: my colored christmas lights, fleece blankets, mikepuppy, Andy, Aaron, Ciana, Amy, having mostly awesome co-workers, my job which lets me look the way I want, salads, my mp3 player, hair dye, my health (which will hopefully start improving), my family, the time I had with my dad and the relationship we had.

16. I'm really painfully shy despite being a communicative Gemini. For a time period I would have panic attacks if I saw people I knew, and I still can get easily overwhelmed in unfamiliar social situations.
17. Milk is one of my favorite things to drink in the whole world. I'm really lucky and spoiled and I've had milk delivered in glass bottles all my life and it's delicious.
18. I'm really against restrictive diets, from vegan to low fat to atkins. I prefer moderation, though sometimes it's not the easiest thing in the world. Lately all I've been craving (besides turkey, which I finally got to have today!) is a good steak. *sigh*
19. I have a tendency to skitter away from defining my sexuality because I don't feel like it's a necessity. I read an excellent essay by Gloria Anzuldua about ambiguity in feminism and I feel a certain attachment to it. Though in her essay, she talks about eventually having a clearer focus, I still think there is a place for ambiguity.
20. I try not to talk about things I'm excited about out of a fear that this will jinx it.
finally done with that! now perhaps I'll wash my face.
I'll make the most of it, I'm an extraordinary machine.
