So in the spirit of trying to be healthy and all I decided i'd better start cooking for myself so todayyyyyyyyy JENNA COOKED!
Chicken, Broccoli and Brown Rice
INGREDIENTS ( 1 Serving)
3/4 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 (10.75 ounce) can Campbell's Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free or Healthy Request) * I used Cream of Broccoli
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons water
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons uncooked instant brown rice (MAKE SURE ITS INSTANT. If its not pre-cook the rice! You can also use instant white rice)
1/2 cup fresh or frozen broccoli flowerets
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until well browned on both sides.
Remove chicken from skillet.
2. Stir soup, water, paprika and black pepper in skillet. Heat to a boil.
3. Stir rice and broccoli in skillet. Reduce heat to low. Return chicken to skillet. Sprinkle additional
paprika and black pepper over chicken. Cover and cook 5 minutes. or until chicken is cooked through and
rice is tender.
The Cooked Chicken
I used Cream of Mushroom (For more flavour)
Seasoning! Pepper and Paprika
Brown rice, which was not instant!
Water, Cream of Mushroom, Pepper and Paprika Simmering....
Kiss the cook...
Add Broccoli and rice!
