I'm undertaking some new (and some not-so-new) projects.
1. Bartending school - This project is relevant to my present career goals. I am currently working with the title of bartender, however I work during non-alcohol hours. So really i'm just a glorified cashier, who serves coffee and soda and sells Ciggs and energy drinks. I do however have the ability to move to day shift (or SWING shift which is the BEST shift) where I would be able to serve drinks. Only problem? I don't know enough drinks and my supervisors won't move me until they feel sure I could handle it. So, I'm going to bartending school because I feel in my case it's the best way for me to learn. I'm hoping upon hope that we are getting a Christmas Bonus this year (We might not because the Casino is losing money in these hard times) and if we do, consider this paid for!
2. College - Yes, back to regular college for me. I don't have a major this time, but I figure I still need an education and I can get my general stuff out of the way first and then decide on a major. Having an AA in Liberal Arts never hurt anyone right? So, i'll be back in school in January. Wish me mucho luck. I'm not planning on taking a huge classload since i'll still be working full-time. I'm hoping that taking less classes at a time will help me to stay focused and get good grades. We shall see.
3. Project UIAR - This one is a little bit of a secret. I don't really want to elaborate much on it right now, but I will say it has to do with something i've wanted to do my whole life. I'm very interested in this and i will be investing a lot of myself, of my time and energy into making this project successful.
4. Project Get-Out-Of-Debt - Its time to pay off that balance on my credit card and finish paying off my car. I'm searching high and low for a second (seasonal) job to do just that! Theres not much left to pay off but its hard with what i'm making now. Just getting a job for November to January would do the trick. Anybody know anywhere thats hiring seasonal workers???
5. The Fit - Okay, I know I just said I wanted to pay off my car and get rid of monthly car payments but...I really want the fit! THE FIT IS GO! This is The Honda Fit if you don't know what i'm talking about.
Isn't it awesome? YES! The answer is YES! THE FIT IS GO!
6. Project Jenna - This one is about me. Attitude Overhaul. Time to fix the inside. Enough said.
