1. I'm not paying any attention to that list of goals I set. The last month has gone by super fast, and I keep telling myself that once I'm moved I'll have no excuses. Which is an excuse. I need to get on the shit.



2. The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is fucking great. Took me a very long time to make the time to listen for some reason, but boy am I glad I did. That record is soul food for the downtrodden; it'll cure what ails ya for sure. Woot. Also finally giving Radiohead a chance. Some of you will have very loud angry things to say about me taking so long and you could have shown me the way and blah blah blah...to you I say only this: Suck it, Trebek. Only in my own good time will I truly appreciate it, if I do at all.



3. I want to spend time away from California this year. I'm tied here for academic reasons, as well as the lease I'm about to get into, but I feel like a pilgrimage is in order. I don't know what I'll find, and it might be nothing at all, but at least I will have opened my eyes a bit. Christ knows it's about time.



4. I'm feeling refreshed after winning a poker tourney...too bad it was play money.
