i love to sing-a
for those who don't know, i love to sing. i've been singing for as long as i can remember. before american idol there was a show called Star Search. i dreamed of going on that show and i ranked my talent against the competitors. what i didn't realize was that if you want to be a star, you also have to have confidence and learn to deal with your crippling stage fright. alas, my star never rose and i was destined to be a happy ordinary person.
i'm in the mood to see some of my favorite animated musical scenes and songs from when i was growing up. come along, won't you?
Rock-a-Doodle - Kiss 'n Coo (not much singing, but I loved Goldie and this scene when i was a kid)
Merrie Melodies - I Love to Singa
Fern Gully - Toxic Love (how can you not love Tim Curry)
Fievel Goes West - The Girl You Left Behind
Fievel Goes West - Dreams to Dream (probably my favorite of this group of videos)
Toy Story 2 - When She Loved Me (this one always makes me cry)
Doug - Killer Tofu (I couldn't find the real versions of any of the Doug songs that i like. I love the Beets!)
There are others from Nickelodeon shows, old cartoons, and of course huge disney movies other than toy story. i left a bunch out, but this was a nice trip for me down memory lane.

Thanks for the link. I e-mailed my dad though, and he was pretty sure we still have my old one in storage.
