for those who don't know, i love to sing. i've been singing for as long as i can remember. before american idol there was a show called Star Search. i dreamed of going on that show and i ranked my talent against the competitors. what i didn't realize was that if you want to be a star, you also have to have confidence and learn to deal with your crippling stage fright. alas, my star never rose and i was destined to be a happy ordinary person.

i'm in the mood to see some of my favorite animated musical scenes and songs from when i was growing up. come along, won't you?
