So a huge element to me now is that I'm starting to collect and read comics. I've collected occasional ones over the years, but my collection has really exploded in the past 2yrs.
Im collecting a fortnightly Batman series. Which once the collection is complete, it will show a montage from the spines. One huge series that I can't get enough of is 'Saga'. Like I highly recommend to any comic fan or anyone just interested in comics. I find myself not being able to put them down once I start.
My Marvel collection is slowly coming together too. I've read a few that I've loaned from one of my best friends, but I'm trying to invest in some myself. I'm currently subscribed to 2 ongoing series, 'King Thor' and 'Ghost Rider vs Ghost Rider'. Both have been great reads.
But one series I've been impatient for is 'Absolute Carnage'. It's because I wanted to collect the Omnibus books for it. Which the first 6 issues has just been released in a single book. But I've been told that I really need to read the 2 previous Venom books first. I seriously need more money to buy all these comics 😂
But basically what got me into writing this post, was that I've started to also collect the DragonBall Manga!! I've been a DBZ fan since it hit Aussies screens in the late 90s/early 00's. And I'm loving DBS too. Which I'm collecting the bluray and just waiting for them to release Eps 105-131 to finish it off.
Anyway, so I just finished the first Manga collection of the first 3 volumes of DragonBall. And wow, loving it. But it's also scary that what I just read came out in 85/86... I was born at the end of 86 😂... Anyway, I so psyched to be able to collect and read the Manga of my much loved anime.
Well I guess that will do for now. Maybe another day I'll make another post dedicated to some of the other series I've been reading. Until then.. Excelsior!!!
