So I've been here in Melbourne for the SGAU Ball/Shootfest. Its been great to get out of Perth for a while and to socialise with people from this site who I have met previously at the 2012 Ball in Brisbane plus those who joined since then. And I couldn't have had this experience without the lovely @lillymaee and the hospitality of @jaskola :)
I wasn't able to take part in the Shootfest itself, but I've been seeing lots of previews and BTS of various sets and I'm excited for the first few months of 2016 when then they all start appearing in MR. But hopefully this time next year, I will be skilled and have enough reputation that I can join in as a photographer for a shootfest.
As for the ball, due to public transport i was 3 hours late to the party and hated myself for it so much. I have major anxiety issues when it comes to being late for parties and it was bad on saturday night. But i have learnt from the experience and it will never happen again. Which means that I didn't get to socialise as much as I wanted to, I never made it into any official photos that were taken, and i missed out on seeing the burlesque shows and the entering the quiz. To top it off, because I'm on antibiotics atm, I wasn't able to drink -_-
luckily i managed to get photos on my phone with two lovely ladies who i was excited to meet. @atlanticlungs and @pebblezink :) I wish i was able to get a photo with @aubrey though :( BUT i got awesome hugs from her at least :D
Last night i got to hang out with Pebblez, a bunch of other hopefuls and @frankndame for pizza which pretty much drew the socialising and SG weekend to a close. Now I'm just going to chill and wander Melbourne until I fly back to Perth on Wednesday.
