The last week has been pretty full on really... Monday was Soundwave. which was the very last here in Perth. it was pretty cool. I saw Mushroomhead (which were epic), Darkc3ll (brisbane Industrial band), Satyricon, Korn, Rob Zombie, and the last 2 songs of DevilDriver. hung out with mates and yeh, was over all a good day.
Tuesday I had no voice. ive got Darkc3ll, Satyricon, and Rob Zombie to blame for that haha.
wednesday, i heped @benjiwa out with his The Faces We Live In photo session. Then i had a meeting with one of my best friends and a client for some editing work. The rest of the afternoon was getting all the footage from my friend. Then had my usual Wednesday night meditation class.
Thursday was spent coming home (stayed at mums), finding a suitable MTS converting program and converting a few dozen files to H.264 and starting the edit.
Friday. As the editing had to be done by friday night, i spent the whole day just going at it, as well as having a chat to the client about a few other things. I missed the deadline because it was such an extensive project, there was just no way to do it in time. I then spent until 5am encoding the clip which failed coz i fell asleep which then allowed my computer to sleep and stuff up the encoding.
Saturday. woke up after 2 hours sleep and found the stuff up. so since 7am, ive tried encoding twice and it finally finished at 6.30pm. for the last hour, ive been trying to make the DVD which during transcoding, Adobe Encore just decided to shut down... grr
Technology just is not being friendly to me with this project... I have no idea why, but there have been so many problems.
*breathe*....
hopefully this will work this time. Got the client coming at 9.30 to pick it up. he wanted three copies but tonight, i think he will be getting just the one.
