The 16th draws ever nearer.
Though it may be a bit premature, I feel justified in saying that this will probably be my last journal entry. Though my account technically runs out some time next month, I'm off to boot camp in a scant seven days, most of which will either be too loaded for me to take the time to visit here, or too tedious to be worth writing about. My hope is that I'll still find time to remain reasonably active on the boards, even if for no other reason than to find something to laugh at after joyless days spent shoveling my personal effects into a storage locker.
I'm pleasantly suprised at how far my comment count, friends list and number of journal comments have grown in the past few weeks. Due in no small part to plastering the Woot to every second post for a week straight, I'm sure.
Sorry about that, by the way; it's sort of taken on a life of its own. For whatever it's worth, the whole thing could have been avoided if stipud hadn't posted the thing in the AYB group. I'm suprised that guy hasn't tried to fry my hard drive for ripping off his discovery. No doubt he could do it, either.
Anyhoo, unless I find another really good multi-purpose picture, I don't assume I'll make it to 1000 posts, which was one of the things I promised myself I would do before I die. I guess that means I'll be back whenever the Army says I can have a computer again.

Bort79: I've shaved my head because I'm doing an irrational amount of physical training in preparation for [Amry] boot. Now my pastey, translucent-white ass can sit out in the sun for more than two hours at a time without overheating. I never realized how high maintainance a caucasia-fro is until I got rid of it. Should have done it sooner.
But they'll have to take my facial hair by force.

After a long day (and night) of going through all the junk I've stockpiled over the years, I've found a few pieces of "art" from college. Choice pieces have been added to my pics list, and conveniently profile-photo sized for use by those of you who haven't uploaded one yet. lhia, I'm looking at you.
Also found: picture of me as an akward, sardonic, 250 pound 9th grade asshole. This will not appear in my pics list.
