I am so flippin' tired. What's up with insomnia?

So, my girl and I are going back to Michigan for a family event. She's never met two of my brothers, two other nieces and a nephew, my brother's father and step mother, my stepfather and all those that come with family reunions. She's a little terrified. Should be fun, though.

Might be the last time everyone gets together in a long time to come. So sad how families drift apart. NY, LA, MI, FL, IL... everywhere.

I'm a little apprehensive. I haven't seen those two brothers in over a year and haven't met one of those nieces and the nephew.

And the preparation... I'm getting my hair cut and coloured, so I'll get grief from my mom. And I gotta take off the nail polish. Doesn't go over so hot there. I have to wear a tie one night. What the hell is that? No fun.

Hope we all survive! We're feiry in my family. But we're mellow, too, so it shouldn't be too incendiary.
