I have that song from the end credits of Finding Nemo in my head......"Somewhere beyond the sea, somewhere waiting for me, my lover stands on golden sands, and watches the ships that go sailing...."

What a great song. What a great day. I'm knitting and singing again. I've been so uptight lately. It's not fun being on the edge all the time. For the past couple of months I just haven't been myself. I would say sorry, but ummmm....that's kind of stupid (I'm laughing to myself right now).

I'm going to my cousin's wedding this weekend. I hope to make it to Little Sable Light House after dark one night. I haven't done that for years. God I love Lake Michigan. I can travel the world over, float in the dead sea, spa it up in Budapest, scuba dive in Australia (where Nemo lives!), see the Golapogoes (sp?) Islands, but I just don't think anything could beat diving into those icy waves of Lake Michigan. I love the tall beach grass, the singing sands, the sand dunes, the clear level of succession ones sees as they look away from the lake......*sigh* Oh my heart is happy just thinking about it.

Anyway, I want to go to Houston next winter. Not this one that is coming up, but the next. I just want to see what its like. Perhaps see the Urgencies before everyone falls in love with them and they are great dirty rock stars.

So yeah. biggrin

A few members of my family have been married in the Little Point Sable Chapel -- especially the older great-aunts and uncles. My mother's ancestors were some of the first English settlers in Oceana county, so I really have a strong innate emotional connection to up there... the orchards, woods, streams, and lakeshore. And that lighthouse is AWESOME!

smoke pot. You won't feel so uptight. smile
