So alright, I'm starting from the present and working my way back. Be prepaired to be confused and maybe a little disgusted 
If you can't tell, I got my hair chopped off, and dyed to my natural color. For the purpose of not standing out in boot camp (and because hair cannot be past chin length). Took every one of my peircings out too. Yep, I was about two months away from Basic (Navy, BU) when Mike called me up and asked me to come back.
I had left in November, because we were having problems, and I mean moved across the country away from him. We lived together in Wyoming for seven months. I'm still in Michigan, but I'm going back to him/us in April. Just waiting for papers to come to tell me I'm officially discharged.
And so so very much more has been going on; I had to take all my piercing out for the Navy. But I've repierced my Monroe and am guaging my ears back out again (I already have them up to 0s...not too bad).
My car....oh boy. It's falling to pieces. I've had to replace all four rims, because the fucking Ford engineers are dumbasses. I wanted to keep everything stock, but it is too much money for me. I can't afford to buy a new rim and probably tire as well, every three or four months. And I've finally ruined my sterio for good, damn my temper. Oh, and I hit a truck. Did nothing to the truck, but I need some "minor" body work and a new headlight. New Moonroof motor as well. Some work done on the wiring for my passenger's side window. New seals, everywhere. My back window needs to be retinted. And a new motor for my fan! Fan-fuckin-tastic! Most of the "mechanical" working just dandy......but the cosmetics and extra frills (which is a major reason anyone buys a Cougar) are just not keeping up. Ugh.

What happened with your wheels?
You only have high? In that case, your blower motor is fine; it's more than likely the resistor pack that's bad. It should be next to the blower motor (if it's a typical Ford setup, it'd be under the glovebox). You might even be able to replace it without having to remove anything else.
As for the window motor, your switch is probably borked. I had something similar happen to my Caprice. I took apart the switch to fix it (because I am that cheap, er, awesome) and now all windows work splendidly from all switches.
These fancy-schmancy new(er) cars with all their wiring...oy. So many electrical gremlins to chase! Give me my forty-two year old pickup. Unfortunately, it's still not running so I have to make do with my boat. My boat with power windows, power locks, power seats, power steering, power brakes, fuel injection, amazing heat...I'm being spoiled rotten.
