I don't think I care enough to really listen. I have gotten to the point where I work simply upon the sentence structure they use and the inflection of their voices.
Then I pick a question from one of those 100 questions that everyone always asks but have no real meaning but I turn and look them right in the eyes and ask "So, do you think he really loves you?"

The answer is always yes.
