the anti-folk festival is tomorrow [saturday] in thompkin's square park. it starts at 1pm. evidently, there is a parade beforehand that starts at 11am, but that's waaaayyyy too early for me.

yesterday i went to visit the ashes of my friend who killed himself at the giant cathedral on 111th street and amsterdam ave. it's amazingly beautiful.
