my ex-boyfriend's roommate's boyfriend is doing a series of "virgin martyr" paintings and wants me to model for him. more than being flattered for having been asked to sit for a painting, i'm overjoyed that i can still pass myself off not only as a virgin, but a VIRGIN MARTYR.


this weekend was fabulous. glenn took me to his childhood friend's wedding, and we escaped from the reception afterward to hole up in his parents' giant fancy house full of antique furniture in slipperock. they're away until thursday, so we laid around and watched bad cable tv and mistakenly pilfered a really expensive bottle of wine from their wine cellar. we only figured out it was probably off limits after we tasted it. oops! and then we had lots of sex. went to sleep. woke up. watched the akc dog show. had lots more sex. watched lots of nature shows and true ghost story shows, the superbowl and finally headed home at midnight on sunday.

and now my darling is sick, and i get to do homework and take care of him all day.
