my life is ideal of late.
the night before last was my birthday party at the upstage and it was amazing. actually, i almost didn't go, because one of my djs just wasn't going to show up, and no one else who was djing knew how to work the equipment there, so i was totally freaking out. then my boss at the warhol came over and totally calmed me down and said he would dj my party in the missing dj's stead. and glenn used to tour europe djing and all that sheeit, so he's super good. he played lots of electro and it made me happy. a jillion people came out. i danced a bunch. got drunk. went home. smoked some pot and passed out with my fake boyfriend. actually, paige is my fake boyfriend. jason fate is my fashion boyfriend. we pretend to be dating because it's fashionable and it keeps everyone else we don't want to talk to away.
last night i djed with my boss at some electroclash party at garfield artworks. actually, he played records i picked out while i sat around in a short skirt and bullshitted with manny, who's going to dj the february pantyraid. then i came back to my house and ate an entire large pizza and drank a ton of beer with paige and deanna, my two favourite girls in pgh.
paige's girlfriend, michael, is visiting and we're going to drink bloody marys tonight. me, paige, michael and glenn. it doesn't get more awesome than that. we're conspiring to get married and all live together in the least hippie way possible out in san francisco.
today was productive. i worked, washed almost all my dishes and did lots of exercise. i'll just have to live with being sore for a few weeks, until i get used to doing a ridiculous amount of push ups everyday.
i got the new cardigans album and it's not really that good. maybe it has to grow on me.
i don't miss sex, i miss sex-related injuries.
