so there are only 4 people working at my store, and one of them just got fired for theft. pretty disgusting, eh? i never could abide people who steal. plus, i equate stealing from your job with stealing from your mother. maybe i'm weird. 
so i'm not going to get fired because i don't suck.
and i'm SO EXCITED about going back to nyc from the 8th to the 18th. i can't wait to see all my friends. i'll miss my booooyyyfriend, though.
i still have absolutely NO furniture in my apt, which is quite depressing, but when my mom gets here on the 18th, she's going to help me shop for things.
another good thing: i have xanax for the train ride.
my pile of books to read on the train is: phantoms in the brain by v.s. ramachandran, m.d., ph.d., ulysses by joyce, and the lotus sutra. i neeeeeed some light reading, dammit. maybe i'll reread the lion, the witch and the wardrobe or something.
the prospect of not having sex until AFTER my mother leaves pgh on like the 22nd is grim, indeed.
