A strange thing: Listening to Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 makes me feel inebriated when I'm completely sober. I just sit and stare at the wall (or my computer screen) and feel completely zonked. It's good, but I feel it may be the devil's work. Maybe it could be both good and the devil's work? Who knows.
I've started on this thing where I force myself to write and record a song a day, using my this new fancy Logic 7 Pro thing. It's working out well so far... I don't hold myself to FINISHING the songs, necessarily, just getting the bare bones of something or 'nother laid down that I can work with later, when I've got the time and inclination. It's working out well so far, but then again I've only been doing it for three days. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll be a genius.
Oh, also, Super Furry Animals' Love Kraft is the best album of the year so far. It comes out Tuesday in the States. GET IT.
