I am in a ridiculously good mood today, especially considering I spent a lot of last night being the fifth wheel. Could it be that my roommate pointed out this cute girl I met, erm, "checking me out" when I wasn't looking? Probably not, because that happens all the fucking time. Yes, I am that cool. YES I AM, SHUT UP.

Actually, I think it might be that I got some work done on this ridiculous movie script I started writing. It still makes no sense, but there's actually SCENES and CHARACTERS present now, which kind of helps solidify the overall, um, scriptiness of the thing. Here's a short except, in case anybody cares:

"E: ...and what most people fail to realize... is that the greatest thing about being accepted to your Harvard or your Princeton is not graduating, its dropping out.

S: Did you say dropping out? Evan?

SHOT OF THE LEFT SIDE OF EVANS CHEST, ON WHICH A NAMETAG READING EVAN IS CLEARLY AFFIXED. IT'S WRITTEN IN PERFECT CURSIVE.

E: Yeah, dropping out. Anyone who attends an Ivy League school is capable of graduating. Dropping out means youve attended one of the greatest learning institutions in the world, and found it completely incompatible with your lifestyle. Its a great honor, really.

S: Huh."

I should probably take a class on writing these if I really want to make a decent one, with all the proper scripty things, but from what my friend Andrew says, most of the people in that class are idiots. Oh well.

Plus, I've got a Charlie Kaufman script to work off of. And it's one that hasn't been made into a movie yet! Woooooo!
