lord of the rings rocked. the 2nd movie was a little disappointing, but the source material was pretty tough to work with, so that's understandable. with this one, jackson cut out the parts that i would've cut, and shortened the most confusing part of the book (that gathering up the dead folks in the mountain bit.) and for the most part, it was hard to tell what was CGI and what wasn't, so after awhle, i forgot to try. good shit.
i really need to get out of the house. but to be honest, i just don't feel like it most of the time. i don't really know that many people in milwaukee, beyond the kids i went to school with, and i don't get along with their new friends that well. it would probably make sense to go back to madison now, but i think my parents would be pissed.
on a lighter note, i'm not worried about being bored on new years for once. worse comes to worse, i can just get fucked up and wander around the city harassing people. huzzah!
