i suck at gift giving. i always think i'll come up with something interesting, and i ALWAYS end up giving cds and books. good cds and books, but cds and books nonetheless.

this probably has something to do with the fact that i'm usually disappointed with any gift that isn't of the cd or book variety.

but still... i'm running out of cds to give my dad that he won't hate. the same goes for my sister. my mom's slightly easier to please, because i know she likes stuff with strong melodies and undistorted guitars. she even likes some bedhead, which is great, but i doubt she'd want an entire cd of them.

i have to think of something tomorrow, and since i have a dentist appointment, i don't have an excuse to sit around the house.
